Whether you're stepping into the coxswain's seat for the first time or preparing for national and international competition, Coxie IQ Inc. provides the knowledge, skills, and coaching to help you reach your goals.

 

As Canada's first dedicated coxswain education provider, we offer clinics, programs and private coaching designed specifically for coxswains. Our learning experiences combine practical skills, race knowledge, communication, leadership, and decision-making to help coxswains grow with confidence on and off the water.

We work with individual athletes, rowing clubs, and schools to support every stage of development—from learning the fundamentals to preparing for championship racing and university recruitment.

Meet Your Coaches

Nikki is an RCA-certified coach with more than 20 years of coxing experience and extensive coaching experience developing junior, senior, and competitive coxswains. Her experience spans Canadian Henley, national team pathways, and high-performance competition.

Julie is a competitive masters coxswain, assistant umpire, and adult rowing coach. She combines practical racing experience with a strong background in athlete education, helping coxswains develop the technical knowledge, confidence, and judgement needed to perform on race day.

Together, Nikki and Julie are committed to creating a supportive learning environment where coxswains can continue to develop throughout their rowing journey.
